Yes! The wedding transportation, ferry, and venue are private to our guests only. The entire wedding ceremony, reception, and dancing will be outside and in open spaces. The venue will abide by all COVID mandated precautions. Mexico requires that guests in public spaces use masks, this includes transportation, lobbies, hallways, etc. Outdoor activities, no masks required.
At a private venue off the coast of Puerto Vallarta. This is a beach location and we'll be at the water's edge. There is a walk from the Ferry dock to the ceremony site. The walk is rocky, so wear comfortable shoes.
Please plan on meeting at the Velas Vallarta lobby at 4 pm on the day of the wedding. There is only one ferry to the ceremony site. If you miss the ferry, you'll miss the wedding. Don't be late.
The ferry is a very large commuter ferry and you'll be able to see the coastline almost the entire route. However, we recommend you take motion sickness medicine one to two hours before traveling. We will also have motion sickness bracelets on board.
The dress code for our wedding is beach chic attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear guayabera dress shirts. Ladies should avoid stilettos as the sand can be unstable.
Outdoors
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to cocktail hour where we will be serving finger foods, open bar, and have special musical guests. In addition, there will be an exotic animal encounter for the children. This will be hosted by the animal caretakers at the venue.

There is a suite for our use. Please take respite, use it for tired kids, or just to relax.
The venue has trained medics on staff and there is transportation that can get a person from the venue to the marina in 10 minutes. In addition, Puerta Vallarta has some of the best hospitals in the country.

We have no planned events. We want everyone to just relax and have fun doing the things they want to do. For guests staying at the Velas Vallarta, there will be plenty of time to meet up. We plan to be at the pool and/or beach daily.
