Caitlin and Chris first met at a local bar where a few coworkers introduced them to each other. Caitlin had been away for work while Chris had gotten hired (Little did Cait know, Chris had his eyes on her from day one). Over a year went by, and while they were "work friends" it never went any further past that. That was, until the fateful evening Bryan Leach decided he would try to move to Vegas. His coworkers threw him a big going away party, which both Caitlin and Chris attended. Chris slid on over to her while she was sitting at a booth, put his hand on her leg, and the rest is history.
When Caitlin was still at Yardhouse, she was a bartender, but she was also a travel-trainer. Essentially, she went around the country to help open new locations. Well, about a month after they got together, it was time for Caitlin to pack up and head to Texas for a month. Chris knew this girl was special, and wanted to make sure she knew that before she left. They went to a Pacer game a few nights before she left, and at O'Reilly's after the game, Chris surprised her with the big L word. Caitlin let him know that the love is mutual, and they've been like little puppy dogs ever since.
The Indianapolis Museum of Art is a beautiful, sprawling indoor/outdoor campus hosting amazing works of art. Their outdoor garden is known as Newfields, and every year for Christmas they put on a show that they label as "A Million Lights of Christmas". in 2018, Caitlin and Chris attended for the first time, and were just absolutely blown away. It truly is an amazing spectacle. Chris knew at that point where he was going to propose. Fast forward a year, and Chris asks Caitlin on New Years Eve, 2019, to be his wife. Between tears of joy Caitlin eked out a yes. They were truly lucky to be able to ring in the New Year as a newly engaged couple.
