The story of Isabella and Christopher begins in the summer of 2013 at Hofstra University. The two were randomly assigned to live on the 6th floor in Enterprise Hall, neither knowing that fate had arranged a love story that would change their lives forever. Christopher remembers the first time he ever heard of Bella. On move-in day, another resident said, “Oh, you haven’t met Bella yet? I think you’re going to really like Bella.” An hour later, Isabella struck up their first conversation about music and baseball. The rest, as they say, is history. After graduating, their story endured its first test. They dated long distance for nearly two years after Christopher moved 900 miles away to Iowa for a job opportunity. Dozens of cross-country flights and countless late-night video chats would only strengthen the connection created on that 6th floor in Enterprise. By March of 2016, Isabella and Christopher moved into their first apartment together in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Over the next four years, their love grew by leaps and bounds. They traveled the country, laughed until they cried, and even learned to properly divvy up the cleaning. On March 8th, 2020, on a sunny afternoon in Puerto Rico’s El Yunque Rainforest, Christopher got down on one knee and asked Isabella to marry him. She said yes, writing very first word of this story’s next chapter.
