Chris and Avi have known each other for years, but their love story officially began on July 16, 2022. Avi’s brother, Braden, and Chris met through classes at Kimberly High School, and their friendship only grew stronger over time. Throughout the years, Chris always had a soft spot for Avi, making sure to give her an extra long hello hug or invite her along whenever the boys had plans. Before long, both families started to notice what seemed obvious: Chris and Avi just made sense together. Chris didn’t need much convincing, but Avi (being just a little more stubborn) took a bit longer to come around. One weekend, while Chris and Braden were on their way to pick Avi up, Chris told Braden, “I think I’m in love with your sister.” Without missing a beat, Braden replied, “I know.” After plenty of back-and-forth, sweet conversations, and a little nudge from family, Avi realized that maybe Chris was the one she had been waiting for all along. They officially started dating, and the rest is history. A couple of years later, on October 25th, 2024, Chris asked Avi to be his forever. Since becoming a team, they’ve celebrated so many milestones together: Chris graduated from UW–Platteville and began his career as a Project Engineer at Boldt, and Avi graduated from UW–Milwaukee and started working as a Registered Nurse at Bellin Hospital. They also recently purchased their first home together, one of many dreams they’ve already begun building side by side. They cannot wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife and are so grateful to have you here to celebrate this special day with them! 🤍
