Canalside is a great spot downtown to take a walk, meet local Buffalo icon Sharkgirl, and grab an ice cream.

Elmwood Village is the perfect place to take a stroll, pop into some shops, and grab a coffee or a bite. Stop into Talking Leaves (Annie's favorite bookshop) or grab a scoop from Cookies and Cream.

We <3 our Buffalo parks! Wander around Hoyt Lake and check out the rose garden - which is right across the street from the AKG Museum!

As two people who love to read ALL of the plaquards at the museum, we'll always recommend checking out the AKG.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House

A natural wonder, right in our own backyard - about a half an hour's drive from downtown Buffalo. The view of the falls from the Canadian side is nicer, but you will need a passport to cross over.

Super fun & entertaining children's museum right in downtown Buffalo.

A great option for classic Buffalo wings, and a good spot for brunch or dinner as well! Try the Hot Banana Pepper dip for another taste of a Buffalo classic

Cole's

This is Chris's number one recommendation for wings. It's a bit off the beaten path, but the double dip cajun medium wings are some of the best in Buffalo.

Elmo's

An unassuming spot by the river with great drinks and better bratwursts. (And an unbeatable veggie dog!)

Ballyhoo

We love this place! Multiple flavors of mojitos make the perfect nightcap.

Mint Mojito Bar

Delicious drinks and a cool patio hidden behind Bureau Suit Shop on Elmwood!

This brewery has a great selection and is located right below our reception venue!
