On May 10th 2018, my brother came to visit me in Charlotte to celebrate his birthday. That very same day, I was supposed to be in a fashion show and decided to drop out since my brother was visiting and I wanted to take him out to see the city instead. We ended up going to the movies and afterwards we met up with some friends at a happy hour event on the rooftop of the Epicentre. Chris approached me and I initially thought he was too young (at the time I was 32 and I assumed he was maybe 25 lol- he was actually 31). We had a brief introductory conversation that ended with him telling me that he would take me out soon. We exchanged contact info and a week later we went on our 1st date, a week after that we went on a 2nd date. On our 3rd date, Chris came over and made me his grandmother's jambalaya and on that day I knew he was my husband (b/c it was sooo good lol!) After our 3rd date, we were inseparable. Two years after meeting we became one but due to co-vid, our wedding plans were postponed. We're looking forward to celebrating with you on our wedding day!
