For all you couples out there looking for a romantic evening with great food, Moonstruck is the place. Three levels of dining overlooking Wesley Lake in a dimly lit interior makes for a nice ambiance, and the food is delicious. A little pricey, but worth it if you want a night out.
Head on down to the boardwalk and have a stroll. See where they filmed all those Sopranos dream sequences. Maybe you'll spot Springsteen ambling around. Who knows? If you do see Bruce, invite him to the wedding!
This place has a whole bunch of weird stuff. Records. Books. Comics. DVDS and blurays. Old action figures. If you're missing a Hulk Hogan action figure or an old movie poster of Barbarella, this is your place. Fun to hunt around in all the pop culture stuff.
One of Alysia and Chris's favorite pastimes is perusing antique shops and flea markets looking for oddities and trinkets. This place has a terrific selection. Last time they went here, Chris got an Indiana Jones fedora. Alysia got hand painted Parisian opera glasses and a pink Italian spaghetti poodle.
Schnoochi Boonchi! Fans of Kevin Smith and comic book culture may want to take a pilgrimage to the comic book store Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash. It's the 30th Anniversary of Clerks this year... wow. Fun fact, Chris and his buddies from highschool once stood in line for hours at the Stash to meet Kevin Smith. He signed Chris's Clerks dvd. Walt Flanagan said they couldn't take a picture cause the line was insanely long and while Chris got the car, Kevin Smith pulled everyone together and took a picture when Walt wasn't looking. Cause Kevin Smith is the man. Snoogins.
