In the summer of 2020, both of our families just so happened to vacation in the Outer Banks. What started as a casual vacation quickly turned into something unforgettable-we met, connected instantly, and we were glued at the hip from that day on. Our families saw it coming from a mile away (they started placing bets by day two), and honestly, they weren't wrong. We shared our first kiss on the beach in the middle of a perfect sunny day and have been together ever since.

On our four-year anniversary, Christopher planned what was supposed to be a "casual" day at a vineyard in Connecticut. Spoiler: it was anything but. The weather was perfect, the wine was flowing, and there may or may not have been some nervous pacing (on his part). As he got down on one knee and asked the big question, I heard some rustling coming from the vines and looked over to see Brooke popping up underneath, camera in hand, capturing the moment. Apparently, she had been hiding there the whole time—because what’s a proposal without your sister popping out from under a vine like a well-trained paparazzi?
