Best Man
Colin is Chris' Best Man and one of Alissa's best friends. Colin and Alissa were close friends even before Chris and Alissa were friends. His relationship with both the Bride and Groom is so close and important to both of them they couldn't be more excited to share this day with him. Colin is so selfless and kind that his attitude is infectious and he brings out the best in those around him. If he isn't telling a story that is making his brother keel over and cry from laughter, then he is probably attempting to share his food, money or drink with someone. He is truly a great person and loved deeply by Chris and Alissa.
Nick Rubino
Groomsman
Nick is one of the people you are just so proud to have as a groomsman. When you think of someone who will stick by you, and support you he naturally comes to mind. Nick has known the Groom for 14 years and it feels like he has known the Bride for just as long. Nick just instantly fills a room with joy no matter where he is. He can talk to anyone and is willing to do anything to help out his friends. Long road trips turn into 8 hour laugh fests and dance parties when he is in the car with you. Chris and Alissa are so excited to have him be a part of their relationship and their life. Not only is he a best friend to the Bride and Groom but he is like their brother. Start a conversation with Nick and I guarantee you he will bring a smile to your face.
Chris McClafferty
Groomsman
Chris (McClaff) is Colin's best friend, and didn't hang out with the Bride and Groom until a couple years ago, but it is a testament to just how great of man and friend he is to both Chris and Alissa, that in a couple years he has become one of their closest friends. McClaff is someone you just can't say enough good things about, and that is due to just how humble he is. Chris and Alissa often talk about how they view him as a brother and as someone they just want to be around. He is a truly genuine person, and has just a fun personality. He has no issue being the butt of the joke and even playing along to make others laugh. It's no wonder they chose him to be a Groomsman, he was their partner for competitions and their brother in life. It's a bond they hold very close to their hearts.
Morgan Pennington
Maid of Honor
Morgan is the Maid of Honor, and rightfully so as she has been one of Alissa's closest and oldest friends. They met their senior year of school and had an instant connection only felt between the closest of friends. They have been best friends since then, no matter the distance. She emanates a warmth and kindness that is impossible to miss. Morgan is the type of person who you can pick back up with after months of not talking and feel as if there was never a break in your friendship. Although Morgan and Chris have only met a handful of times, you would not know looking in from the outside. The ease of their friendship illustrates the closeness of the bond between Morgan and Alissa.
Ashley Jackson
Bridesmaid
Ashley is the girlfriend of Alissa's brother Joe, but to simply say that is a gross understatement. After more than a decade of associating with the Nicholsons, Alissa thinks of her as a sister more than anything. She lives her life with a passion that is infectious. Every task she attacks, whether a hobby like collecting books (seriously her house is more of a library than a house) or something more serious, she gives a 100%. In short, she is someone you want to have in your corner, and both Alissa and Chris feel blessed to have her in their lives.
Stacy Frentz
Bridesmaid
Stacy is one of Chris' many wonderful cousins. Chris has always had an extremely close, and extremely large family. They all instantly made Alissa feel like one of their own. She felt a particularly strong connection with Stacy. You can't find someone easier to get along with. Stacy is always happy to join in the joke, whether shes in on it or not! In a day surrounded by friends and family it will be amazing to have someone standing with Chris and Alissa that so perfectly embodies both.
Zac and Joe Nicholson
Bridesman
Although there should probably be two separate sections for Alissa's brothers, it is almost impossible to separate their influence on her life. As a child she imitated them endlessly. As an adult, very little has changed. She proudly considers herself an amalgamation of her brothers. From Zac she got her love for video games and drive to succeed (which worked in tandem when Zac watched Alissa take 3 full hours to beat the first boss of a Zelda game). From Joe she borrowed her passion for the environment and a love of books (many of the books she loves most have been borrowed - or stolen - from Joe's expansive library). Both brothers gave Alissa endless practice in the family's trademark sarcasm. Both Chris and Alissa adore spending time with Zac and Joe and look forward to much more.
