We thank you sincerely for making the trip to Italy for our wedding. We have outlined a few suggestions in "Things to Do" to help you make this most of your trip.
The southern Italian coastline on both sides of the country alternate between public areas where you bring your own items and paid beach clubs with chair, umbrella and access to food. Note, it is not customary to eat on the beach in Italy, so plan to leave your chair and visit the restaurant when you're ready for food if you decide to book beach club access.
This is a rustic and traditional area that has many old-school and religious observances. A lot of public places will be closed on Sunday, or closed between the hours of 12 and 4 for siesta. Prime dinner time at restaurants is 8pm.
We highly recommend car rental as rideshares/taxis are not prominent. European rental cars will usually be offered as manual, so if you do not drive stick, make sure to request automatic at the time of reservation.
