The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts features beautiful art exhibits, and has free admission! They also have gorgeous outdoor areas. This is a great place to experience while visiting Richmond!

Belle Isle

Belle Isle is a city park that is part of the James River. Large, flat rocks surrounding the island make for good sunbathing! There are many trails around the park such as wooded trails and mountain biking trails. Other features include historical sites, wheelchair-accessible fishing at the quarry pond, and a granite wall for rock climbing. We love coming here any time of year!
