Wedding Party

Chris and I are so lucky to have these amazing friends and family stand by our side on our wedding day. We truly wouldn't be where we are without the love and support from the below people!

Alyssa Ohmstede

Maid of Honor

Alyssa and I have been inseparable from the first day of college as freshman year roommates. Alyssa and I only lived apart during college for three semesters with one of those being when we both studied abroad in Europe. We still managed to see each other throughout our time in Europe visiting four countries together. Despite me leaving NC after college, us two have remained as close as ever and are enjoying Alyssa's flight perks from her job to see each-other as much as possible. I am so thankful to have her as my Maid of Honor!

Doug Kocur

Best Man

Doug is my favorite, and only, brother. We have endless memories throughout our life. Sadly one of those is bonding over the slumping Chicago Bears the last few years. Thankfully another is him introducing Taco Bells cheesy gordita crunch to me. I am excited to create more by having Doug be my Best Man in the wedding. I set the bar very high for Best Man at his wedding, he has quite the speech to live up to. Alana and I are excited to have both Doug and Andi, my niece, in our wedding!

Abby Binz

Bridesmaid

Abby and I were in the same pledge class in our Sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Abby and I became close when we both lived across the hall from each other living in our sorority house sophomore year. Abby and I served on our executive board together and then lived a few houses down senior year. Abby then moved to Atlanta after college and when Chris and I lived together in Atlanta we were in the same complex as Abby. We would always invite her over for dinner and we loved trying new restaurants together. I am so thankful to have a friend like Abby and her be a part of our wedding!

Alex Doyle

Groomsman

Alex and I met while at UW Madison and roomed together my Senior year. We have many great memories over the years from spending time at his lake, our travels to Las Vegas, or our nights out in Madison. I am glad I live within driving distance of Vegas now, as Alex will always be open for a Vegas trip. No matter where we meet up, I know it will always be an amazing time. I am grateful to have a friend like Alex, and I am excited to have Alex be apart of Alana and I's wedding day!

Austin Corydon

Groomsman

Austin and I have been good friends since high school. We ran track and had calculus together. Austin and I remained close throughout college, I was able to watch him race at UW - Madison one season. Once he moved back to Chicago, I knew he would always have a couch open after a night out in the city for me. I was able to stand up in Austin and Bre's wedding in the fall of '22. Looking forward to Austin being apart of our wedding day!

Brett Barnett

Groomsman

I met Brett while he was dating my Sister back in 2013 and became my Brother in Law in 2018. Over the years, we have spent numerous vacations together discussing bourbon, law school, and sports. I am excited to have Brett be able to stand up in our wedding, especially after always joking with him that I would never get married. We are also looking forward to having Avery, my niece, in it as well.

George Schwartz

Groomsman

I met George my Senior year at UW through Alex, as they went to high school together. He and I share good memories from our nights out in Madison, Milwaukee and Europe. Was grateful that he was abroad while I worked in Germany. We were able to go to Lollapalooza Berlin and then visit him in Prague in the summer of 2019! Looking forward to having George be apart of our wedding!

Kelsey Sheffield

Bridesmaid

Kelsey is my cousin on my mom's side and has always been the closet thing I have had to a sister! Kelsey was born 24 days before me (she'll never let me forget) and so it has been awesome having someone going through the same stages of life together. Kelsey is always the first person I want to see when I go visit family in Savannah and I am so lucky to call her my cousin!

Mackenzie Bauer

Bridesmaid

Mackenzie and I have know each other since high school where we became close at the state championship football game at the Georgia Dome! The entire summer after Senior year was basically a year long sleep over, bouncing back and forth between our houses. Mackenzie surprised me by flying to Raleigh as a surprise for my 21st Birthday. Luckily with Mackenzie's job she has been able to come out to California twice and I have been able to spend sometime with her. I am so thankful to have Mackenzie be apart of my wedding!

Maggie Smoak

Bridesmaid

Maggie and I have known each other since high school where we became friends due to us sitting next to each other in AP Psych Senior Year. Maggie and I remained friends all through college with me coming to visit Auburn freshman year! I always stayed at either the Swann's or the Bauer's whenever I came back to Atlanta, I loved be able to catch up and hang out together. In February 2023, I got to be a bridesmaid in Maggie's wedding and had an amazing time being there for her on her wedding day. I am so thankful to have a caring and loving friend like Maggie to be a part of our wedding!

Margo Hays

Bridesmaid

Margo and I have known each other since middle school as we both swam at Dynamo together; however, we really became close in high school with us both attending St. Pius X. Margo and I both swam for Pius and always enjoyed meet days and of course the State Championship meet in February. Margo and I both share a love of traveling and we got to take an amazing graduation trip to Thailand with Maggie and Mackenzie. Margo lives in Denver currently and I am trying to convince her San Diego is the next place she should live. I am so glad Margo will be apart of our wedding day!

Rachel Remmes

Bridesmaid

Rachel and I became friends in High School where we had many classes together and Rachel was on the Swim & Dive Team at Pius with me. Rachel and I remained close through college with her coming to visit me in Raleigh Junior year. Once I moved back to Atlanta, Rachel and I lived together for a year where we spent lots of nights talking and watching anything and everything on Netflix. Our favorite movies to watch were the Mamma Mia movies and we would watch one of them at least once a month. I am so glad Rachel is going to be a part of our wedding!

Paige Rubendall

Bridesmaid

Paige and I met my Freshman year as she was the last Sophomore I was paired with as a potential "Big" in our sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Paige and I immediately connected as we both were former swimmers and had put it together that we had actually practiced together a few times when I would have to train in Raleigh while visiting family for the holidays! I am so thankful that Paige became my big and she became one of my closest friends in our sorority. I am so thankful to have Paige in my life and so excited for her to be a part of our wedding!
