Brae and Chris will have a small, private ceremony leading up to the reception. They are requesting your presence at the Reception to celebrate the occasion with dinner, music, dancing, and cocktails!
NYC is full of hotel options, and we know that picking one can be overwhelming. We've put together a map of some options (see below), at various price-points and in various areas of the city. We've given you options that will work for any of the airports you may fly into (Newark in Jersey, or JFK or LaGuardia in Queens). Our reception venue is easily accessible by subway and cab/Uber/Lyft, so don't feel like you need to stick to a hotel near the venue. You also have the option of Airbnb, if you're so inclined. You have plenty of options for traveling to the venue, Gran Morsi Restaurant. Depending on where you're staying, you can take a cab/Uber/Lyft, but if you want to save a little money, the restaurant is easily accessible by Subway Train, the closest stops: - N/R/W, City Hall - A/C, Chambers Street - 2/3, Park Place - J/Z, Chambers Street - 4/5/6, Brooklyn Bridge City Hall
Many of you have asked if Brae and I would be putting together a wedding registry, so we did! https://www.zola.com/registry/chris_and_brae Space is at a premium at our venue, and while Brae and I can collect cards the day of the reception, we kindly ask that all gifts be mailed to our apartment: 8007 Grand Central Parkway, Apt 2 East Elmhurst, NY 11370
Cocktail attire... the grooms suggest a dark suit worn with a tie for men, and a party-ready dress for women, such as a little black dress.
This will be an intimate event for close family and friends. Your invitation will note if you're welcome to bring a 'plus one.'
The venue is small, so the grooms are limiting to children of immediate family only. Your invitation will indicate if your children are included in the head count.
