Travel Note

Travel Recs

We recommend flying into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) and staying in Waikiki. Waikiki is busy but it has the most hotel options and you'll easily be able to get to our Beach Welcome Party and Sunday Breakfast from Waikiki. Unfortunately, most short term rentals (like AirBnB) have been outlawed in Hawaii unless you have a special permit. Please check with hosts if you do book through these websites. We do recommend renting a car if you'd like to explore more of our beautiful island home! Due to the COVID pandemic, there has been a shortage of rental cars, so we recommend booking your rental far in advance if possible. We've listed a few of our favorite places in the "Things to Do" section.
