Questions

Question

What precautions are we taking to reduce risk from COVID-19?

Answer

We want to make sure all of our guests can safely celebrate! Outdoor wedding: The wedding ceremony, dinner, and dancing will all be outdoors! We will not be requiring guests to wear masks. There is an indoor "wine cave" (tunnel) to access the event venue. If you're uncomfortable or unable to walk through the tunnel, please see the FAQ below. Vaccine requirement: We will require all guests to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19, unless they have told us they are too young or ineligible due to medical reasons. We're trying our best to ensure that all event staff are vaccinated and boosted, but in cases where the company cannot guarantee it, the company's event staff will wear masks. Day-of: If you're not feeling well the day of the wedding, please plan to stay home. We'll be sure to find other ways to celebrate with you in the future! Of course, navigating COVID-19 waves is ever-evolving. We'll keep this up-to-date if anything changes (for example: adding mask requirements, etc if needed). Please reach out to Chris or Tal if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We would appreciate if you can RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than August 1st. (We want to make sure we have enough tables for everyone!). Feel free to use the link on the website to RSVP!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

For the wedding, Please dress nicely in something that makes you comfortable such as dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or button-up shirts with slacks. The weather can be hot and cold! For the picnic, attire is casual, anything goes, from sundresses and flip-flops to jeans and tees.

Question

Will it be hot or cold outside?

Answer

Why not both? It could be both hot and cold outside on the same day. The weather at this time of year has been as high as 90°F (32°C) at 4:00pm and as low as 50°F (10°C) at 10:00pm. We're expecting the temperature to drop quickly after the event starts, so please bring nice jackets and layers that will keep you comfortable into the evening.

Question

Can I bring a +1 or kid to the wedding?

Answer

We have limited space at the venue, so please check your invitation to see who is invited. We are only able to accommodate the people who are explicitly invited.

Question

Will there be childcare?

Answer

No, we will not be providing childcare. We have limited space in the venue so only those who are invited will be able to attend. If your child is invited and plans to attend, please plan to watch them throughout the night.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Nope! Living together for a few years has resulted in a well-stocked house! We're excited for you to celebrate with us, so we really don't need any gifts. If you really want to give something, we'd be happy for you to contribute to our honeymoon plans (cash, checks, Venmo, are ok). But truly, celebrating with us is enough!

Question

What? There's a cave?

Answer

Yes, the venue is located at the end of an entrance through a "wine cave" (it's a tunnel 😅). We're biased, but we think the cave is pretty cool. If you are unable to go through the cave, please let us know in advance. We can arrange transportation for you to be dropped off directly at the outdoor venue.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

For the wedding: there's plenty of parking at the venue (3 lots worth!). Feel free to park in any of the lots. For those who prefer not to drive, there is also Uber and Lyft. For the picnic: there's a large parking lot at the park. If you have any luggage with you, we recommend bringing it to the picnic (you can stick it in a corner) rather than leaving it in the car.

Question

How did you make your invitations?

Answer

The Invitations and Save the Dates designs were courtesy of Tal's sister, Or! Thank you, Or!
