Question

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

There is a closed road to the west of the venue. Follow the directions below! If coming from the East on I -90 Go to Exit 402/Veterans Parkway/478th Ave. Turn North(right) at exit and proceed for 3 miles to 258th St. Turn West (Left) on 258th St. and Proceed for 1 mile to 477th Ave./Slip Up Creek Road At 477th Ave. /Slip Up Creek Road turn back South (Left) (GRAVEL ROAD) and proceed for 2 miles. After you pass by Veterans Cemetery on the right, Laurel Ridge entrance will be ¼ mile farther on the Left If coming from the south or the Hotel, take I-29 North 6 Miles to I-90 East. Then Go East 3 miles on I -90 to Exit 399/Cliff Ave/115. Turn Left (North) on Cliff Ave/115 and proceed 3 miles to 258th St. Turn East (Right) onto 258th St. and proceed for 3 miles to 477th Ave. /Slip Up Creek Road Turn back South (Right) on 477th Ave. /Slip Up Creek Road (GRAVEL ROAD) and proceed for 2 miles. After you pass by Veterans Cemetery on the right, Laurel Ridge entrance will be ¼ mile farther on the Left. If heading North on I-229, Stay to the left as I-229 ends. That will turn into 476th Ave. Continue for 3 miles to 258th St. Turn East (Right) onto 258th St. and proceed for 1 mile to 477th Ave. /Slip Up Creek Road Turn back South (Right) onto 477th Ave./Slip Up Creek Road (GRAVEL ROAD) and proceed for 2 miles. After you pass by Veterans Cemetery on the right, Laurel Ridge entrance will be ¼ mile farther on the Left.

Are the ceremony and reception taking place at the same location?

Answer

Yes- the ceremony will be held outdoors on the patio of Laurel Ridge. The reception will be held inside the air-conditioned barn at Laurel Ridge. If inclement weather all festivities will be held inside the Laurel Ridge Barn.

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception on site?

Answer

Yes, there are 130 paved spaces plus an additional overflow lot located on site.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Be prepared to wear attire for a warm outdoor summer wedding. For footwear planning, the outdoor patio includes stone pavers and the cocktail hour will allow for time to explore the grassy fields around Laurel Ridge Barn.

Can I bring my own drinks to the wedding venue?

Answer

No. The wedding venue has a strict policy that no outside beverages are allowed (including water!). However, there will be free water, lemonade, pop, and coffee for our guests following the ceremony. There will also be additional beverages available for purchase after the ceremony as well.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes the Staybridege Suites Southwest and the Clubhouse Hotel & Suites both located in Sioux Falls. In order to receive discounted wedding rate, rooms must be purchased by July 19th.
