Chris was living with his best friend, Jon Stine, during law school. One night, Jon's girlfriend (now wife) brought over this precious gem (Chris's words, not mine) one evening to hang out while we watched tv and ate dinner. Little did either of us know after 9 years of friendship and seeing each other on occasion, we would start dating. Turns out, after a horrendous defeat of the Broncos by the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, a romance would blossom. It also doesn't hurt when you reach out to your friend and ask for some advice on failing technology. That too can lead to a blossoming romance. (Ok, that one is me). The rest is history!

The dog delivered the package. It was a Saturday morning in February and we were headed to meet some friends for brunch. Chris was on a walk with Sabo and Jillian was getting ready. When Chris and Sabo got back from their walk, Sabo came running to find Jillian with a fun surprise on his neck - not to mention looking scared as ever. He doesn't wear a collar, especially one with a fun box attached ;). Jillian took the collar off of his neck and turned around to find Chris on one knee. Funny thing is, Chris didn't say a word. "Aren't you supposed to say something?" Jillian said. He looked up with the perfect combination of fluster, happiness and excitement in his eyes and said, "Will you marry me?" She said YES! It was perfect and fit everything that is us. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all!
