Cartagena's weather is consistent year-round, with hot and sunny days followed by a pleasant coastal breeze in the evenings. If you're planning to go out during the day, especially to the beach or nearby islands, be sure to apply sunscreen—the sun near the equator can be intense!
The tourist zone of Cartagena is always lively, featuring designer boutiques, charming artisanal shops, and a renowned culinary scene. Visitors will find endless options for entertainment. While most shops accept card and tap-to-pay, it is advisable to carry some Colombian Pesos for delicious street food and unique goods from street vendors.
