To find myself in the midst of a walking cliche, To be completed in spirit with this love I found, To realize that a synergy of best friend and lover would someday be my greatest gift... That one small career decision lead to all this, That a Texas girl would cross my path and offer to be my tour guide, That this Texas girl would always get to me in a way, That we would maintain our friendship through our flings, our time apart, our new experiences, while we heal and grow, That a perfect storm named Harvey would come along, To provide a turning point in the form of joyous cabin fever, laughter, and a glimpse of the future. How lovely, Is she that lights up the room when she walks in, Is she that can captivate an audience with her wit and good spirit, Is she that is endeared by anyone she meets, Is she who questions life and authority at my exact frequency, Is she whose actions align with her goals and dreams, Is she to beam rays of light even when sheathed in darkness. The love we have, Is always being on the same page even in disagreement, Is improving ourselves out of gratitude to each other, Is finding joy in everything we do because we enjoy each other, Is so strong and stable that no disagreement could ever break us, Is the only thing that has ever allowed my overly perspicuous mind to believe in magic. Because it has to be some type of magic, miracles, higher powers, or some crossroads-esque deal I made, that put this woman in my life. I am forever indebted to the universe for how lucky I am...

Chris Clary, the groom, is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a territory sales manager at Latch Oil, inc. He uses his charm and slick tongue, along with determination and creativity, to make a living in Houston’s competitive market of Lubricant sales. His career goals are to build a name for himself in Houston with his CAM2 oil brand, enter a bigger market, and have the opportunity to learn and master his craft enough to become a sales trainer. He attended Louisiana Tech University where he became a collegiate powerlifter, received a bachelors degree in Nutrition, and became a dietitian for no reason at all. This was after somehow being let into a major university without a high school diploma. Shortly after finishing his internship to become a dietitian, he decided to try his hand at sales, and never looked back. This is what prompted the move to Houston, Texas. His hobbies including powerlifting, bodybuilding, music (guitar), cooking, eating, nutrition coaching, and learning. When he’s not working or sleeping, you can find him at the coolest gym in the Heights of Houston, Steelmill Gym, or out on the town with his lovely fiancée and short legged dogs.

The bride, Samantha Andrews, grew up in Cut and Shoot, Texas. She moved to downtown Houston 5 years ago to attend college and pursue her dream of being super cool and meeting a nice city boy one day. She works as a paralegal at the Law Office of Deborah Crain, and has rapidly sharpened her skills and advanced her career there since starting full time. She graduated from the University of Houston recently with a bachelors in Political Science. During college she developed her time management skills to be able to juggle her employment, her social life, fitness, traveling, while continuing to maintain an excellent GPA. This skill has paid off, since she is always on the go, taking on new projects, and taking every opportunity to travel with her fiancee. She hopes to one day own her own business, which is in the works as we speak. For fun, Samantha enjoys her time with her short legged dogs, bike rides, weight lifting, and all things fashion and dress up. Now that she has fulfilled her dream of being super cool and finding a nice city boy, she’s always looking for the next adventure. One thing about Samantha that makes her special, is that she always finds a way to light up the room. In social settings, if you haven’t picked her out of the crowd from her natural beautiful blond curls, you definitely won’t miss her big bubbly personality. With a snorting laugh that can shatter glass, and her enunciating story telling voice, she always seems to be the life of the party.
