When is the wedding?

The wedding ceremony will take place on May 3, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.

Where is the wedding?

Answer

We are getting married on Royal Caribbean’s private island Coco Cay, in the Bahamas. It is the first place Taisha saw Matthew the day they met.

Do I have to go on the cruise to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes, in order to attend the wedding you must sail on Utopia of the Seas, departing May 2,2025 from Port Canaveral, FL.

What is the attire for the ceremony?

Answer

Beach Formal/Beach elegant/Coastal cocktail attire This means: Ladies: dresses of lightweight fabric no white/cream/tan please. Fashionable sandals, mules, or wedges. Men: linen suits, slacks, button downs, ties. Loafers or boat shoes *** This is a beach, there will be sand, please plan accordingly.

What do I need to pack?

Answer

Clothes, shoes, toiletries, bathing suit, sunscreen, sunglasses, passport, credit card, and a good attitude. If you are unsure if you will be seasick, it is a good idea to pack some dramamine pills, scopolamine patches, or seasick bracelets.

Do I have to have a passport to cruise?

Answer

You need a valid passport, that is not due to expire 6 months after the sail date. **If you are a U.S. Citizen and born in the United States of America, you can travel with your birth certificate.

How many bags can I bring?

Answer

As many as you want, please keep in mind, this is a 3 night cruise so pack to your liking

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

You can bring 1 bottle of wine or champagne with you in your hands when you board. Hard liquors are not accepted as walk on but please feel free to message me for additional tips.

Are drinks included on the cruise?

Answer

No, alcoholic drinks are not included in your cruise booking. Royal Caribbean provides free waters and juices and coffee to guests. You can book the Unlimited Beverage Package after you book the cruise so you can have unlimited alcoholic drinks/sodas throughout your trip. We will provide a 2 hour open bar at our wedding reception.

Can we bring our gifts on board?

Answer

We would greatly appreciate it if you could please mail all gifts to our home. Cards will be welcomed and accepted

Why is the reception so late after the ceremony?

Answer

We want you to be able to not only enjoy us but this cruise as we would. This means that after our vows we invite you to have the best beach/pool day with us and with what Cococay has to offer. We invite to join us in the evening to continue the celebration on board as we sail away.

Can I drive to the port?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking available at a fee: 3 Nights/4 Days - $68.00 You can drop your bags off first and then go park so you dont have to drag your luggage around.

Where is Port Canaveral?

Answer

Port Canaveral, Orlando is located at 445 Challenger Road in Florida. There are multiple terminals in Port Canaveral for Royal Caribbean Ships. Cruise Terminal #1 9050 Discovery Road Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920 Cruise Terminal #5 9245 Charles M Rowland Dr Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920 Cruise Terminal #6 9241 Charles M Rowland Dr Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920 Before arriving to the port, check your cruise documents to make sure which is the Terminal your ship will be departing from. Once you have arrived at Port Canaveral follow the signage throughout the port to your ship's terminal assignment.

Do you suggest flying in the night before the cruise leaves?

Answer

Yes, if you're flying in from anywhere, we would always suggest arriving on May 1 and booking a hotel close to the cruise port or airport; so you don't have to worry about any potential delays or cancellations. The cruise WILL leave with or without you on May 2 by 4:00 PM.
