It was a frightful night in Gainesville. What locals affectionally called the swamp. Alexandra had set out on a noble path to discover her prince charming, decorated in Snow White attire from head to toe. Emanating with beauty, it's hard to imagine she would end resting her gaze upon a half-baked jersey shore Halloween costume knock off. The attention to detail she had placed upon her outfit was not requited in the slightest, but that did not deter her efforts. While it's still up for debate who made the first move, once Alexandra and Samuel started chatting in line, the rest was history...or so they thought. They spent that night going to several different clubs and bars before calling it an evening. Ignoring the three day rule, Samuel immediately reached out the following day to see if Alexandra wanted to see, "Saw 7: The Final Chapter" in theaters for their first official date. It was Halloween after all. This allowed their romance to blossom for several months before approaching a difficult realization: Samuel was in Florida for the year studying hypnotherapy, but had every intention of moving back home to Pittsburgh once the program concluded. Saddened by this reality, the two decided to part ways, unsure if they would ever cross paths again. The blessing of Social Media (Facebook back in 2010) was that it permitted occasional jokes and updates shared between Alexandra and Sam, often times referencing the movie "Serendipity." And while they never escalated to a point of reconnecting fully, there was still something that kept them connected. It wasn't until August of 2020, when the world was shut down and Samuel was stuck in Pittsburgh that he saw Alexandra having the time of her life in Florida (through Facebook of course). He decided what better time than the end of the world to reach back out and connect. His timing could not have been more impeccable. They were both single and decided to start talking more regularly, until finally deciding to reconnect on Halloween 2020, exactly 10 years from the first day they met. After just a few short visits, Samuel took what he thought was a brief vacation down to Florida in January of 2021. Fast forward just three years, Alexandra and Sam now have two dogs Woodford and Balboa, a home in Wesley Chapel, and a wedding to plan for! We are excited to share this day with all of you!
