Question

I am trying to book a room at the Residence Inn, but they are telling me rooms are no longer available - can I still get a room?

Answer

Once our wedding block is fully committed and / or the block end date of October 16th has passed, the hotel will accommodate any additional reservations based on availability. Please email our wedding planner at sophia@sparkeventconsulting.com to see if she can better assist.

Question

What wedding activities should I prepare for?

Answer

We would love for you to use our wedding as an excuse to travel to Maui and enjoy a few extra days exploring and soaking in the beautiful island! We will be hosting a casual aloha reception on Friday evening, which you are welcome to come and go at your convenience. Saturday afternoon will begin the formalities of our wedding day. Aside from that, you can take a drive to Hana, or go watch the sunrise at Haleakala, or find Young teeing off at one of Maui's legendary golf courses!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding venue?

Answer

Shuttle service will be provided from the host hotel (Residence Inn by Marriott) at a designated time to Sugar Beach. Please indicate if you will need transportation to the wedding when RSVPing.

Question

What do you mean by Semi-Formal / Island Chic attire?

Answer

We would love to see all our guests nice and cleaned up for the wedding day so suits and pretty dresses are great, but nothing too stuffy! Feel free to add your touches of island style. Ladies please note high heels may sink in the softer lawn surface. And don't forget to bring a light jacket or a shawl for the evening as we will be dining outdoors.
