Things To Do

Newport, RI - our favorite place! It is where we met, fell in love, were engaged, and now will wed! Needless to say it holds a very special place in our hearts. If you can make the time, here are some of our favorite recommendations!

Cliff Walk

Cliff Walk, Newport, RI 02840

Where we would spend countless hours strolling, reading, running, and lounging! We were also engaged at our special spot right off the beaten path.

The Lawn at Castle Hill Inn

590 Ocean Drive, Newport, RI 02840
, (888) 466-1355

A GORGEOUS view of the Narragansett and a perfect place to sip rose or inhale a lobster roll.

Stoneacre Brasserie

28 Washington Square, Newport, RI 02840
, (401) 619-7810

One of our most loved restaurants close to downtown. Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

One Pelham East

270 Thames Street, Newport, RI 02840
, (401) 847-9460

Many red wines and vodka redbulls were consumed here the summer of 2018...you decide who drank what. They typically have live music on the weekends and can be a ton of fun!

At The Deck

1 Waites Wharf, Newport, RI 02840
, (401) 846-3600

Another bar we hold dear to our hearts! Lots of great times were had here singing, dancing, and imbibing to our hearts content!

Thames Street

Thames Street, Newport, RI 02840

The center of it all, Thames Street is rich with history, restaurants, bars, and shops! It's easy to let time get away from you when you're buying $55 sweaters at a local merch shop!

Brad and Eileen's Old Jamestown House

Where Peter threw a party while his cousins were out of town. He was so kind to babysit Molly and throw an absolute rager. Judy showed up uninvited with her friend Scotty and officially met Peter, whom she thought to be very serious and stern.

Naval Station Newport Rhode Island

690 Peary Street, Newport, RI 02841
, (401) 841-3456

Where we went to school for 3 months (Advanced Division Officer's Course, Chief Engineer School, and Navigator School.) Be sure to check out the cafe where Peter ignored Judy while she ate her daily tuna sandwich. In other news, the Officer's Club on base is one of the best in the world and provides a beautiful view of the Pell Bridge. Also, for you military folk, if you forgot your [name your uniform item here], the NEX is here! As well as a uniform shop.

For all the days along the way
