My little sister / BFF! The OG source of the “Goo/Googles/Tiny Baby/Squiggles” nickname that she now shares with her brother-in-law Andrew. My best friend in the whole world and someone I can call at any time for any reason without hesitation. And who updates me on everything Gen Z (ugh). She is HILARIOUS (and not only because I carefully sculpted her into having the same savage sense of humor as me), she is smart, loving, kind, a gentle giant at 5’5”, and extremely beautiful (she got all the good genes…). Though she is *somehow* now an 18 year old adult, she always will be the baby that I'm overly protective of! Even when she reminds me that I'm old.

Julius is my older brother who has been very supportive in my education and career. He became the breadwinner of the family when my father passed away in 2009. He supported my medical education until I moved into the US for residency training. Without him, I would have not been a physician. He has an infectious adventurous spirit ready for the next thrill. We spent a lot of time in road trips in the Philippines stopping by to explore a cave, jump off a waterfall, or plunge into a hotspring. He is the best brother and he is my best man.

My fellow Ashley and I met at a wedding where we were both bridesmaids and it was an instant friendship connection! Since then Ashley has been a great source of support, advice, adventure (Puerto Rico 2019!), and Joy! (pun intended). She is so thoughtful, caring, reliable, and giving. And an amazing planner/organizer, in addition to her many other skills and talents! I am so lucky to have an awesome friend be by my side like Ashley! #mustbeanAshleything

Ann and I met on the steps of church in college when I boldly approached her in order to make a church companion and meet the only other Malayalee in our BS/MD program! Since then, we have had too many hilarious, crying-and-can't-breathe-from-laughing type of moments! To the point that we just see each other and are classically conditioned to start laughing uncontrollably. We always have too much to discuss for hours on the phone and love to rant about our way too common lives. From crazy DC nights to a month-long Peruvian adventure, Ann and I have done it all!

Ryan is my best buddy during residency training. We were in the same clinic group, same apartment building, same jeopardy team. It is like a brother from another mother. We share very similar Christian values. He is smart, works hard, and very passionate. Ladies, he is single!

Sarah and I met at a Christmas party in med school -- I was determined to meet her because she had the same exact name as my other friend and introduce the two of them! We ended up seeing each other in the library often and realized we had the same punny/witty sense of humor. And love to laugh at our own lives. Since then we've had countless hours-long phone conversation just about everything! Sarah is hilarious, glamorous, and a great source of support I can turn to about anything!

Jon has been my schoolmate for 14 years from grade school to college (nursing school). He was one of the first few people who welcomed me here in the US along with Taryna. I even went to his wedding in the Philippines. He has this beautiful seawater aquarium and also loves to fish. He loves to travel with his wife, Taryna, and is the best photographer I know. He is the reason why we have these gorgeous engagement shots.

Kevin is originally from the Philippines and has a distinctive laughter which somehow compounds with Zurab’s. He was also my jeopardy teammate and served as one of my mentors throughout my residency training.

Tiffany is my snarky and hilarious Tampa cousin who I grew up going on roadtrips and cruises with! The pool at her house is the reason I can somehow swim now too. Tiffany makes family events fun with her snarky sense of humor and quick wit. She is a fellow member of the BeyHive and her gorgeous pics make me think I’m looking at a #fashionnovafitpartner on @theshaderoom!

Zurab is originally from Georgia (the country not the state) and is a great friend with his laughter which can be heard down the hall. You will enjoy his company with a sharp wit. He loves to watch soccer and play chess. He has three kids and a really smart guy.

My beautiful cousin who I can't stop laughing with! Though we grew up and live in different countries, Reshma and I always have a great time together! She is sweet, loving, kind, and we both cry of laughter every time we're together! We share the same birthday week (her birthday is June 11, just two days after mine on June 9). Reshma will be flying across the nation to attend our wedding and I can't wait to have her by my side.
