Christopher "Chalker" & I met on August 15, 2019, when he came to Maya's home (my sister & his Battle). It was a day like no other. We were all just hanging out at the house, eating, playing games and just enjoying ourselves. Then out of nowhere walks in Chalker. Immediately, I told Maya in our 'secret' language that, "I wanted him!" Crazy right, but I promise that's the truth.. Now 3 years, 2months, & 7days from the day I made that statement, I will become his wife.

Chalker & I went on our first "date" on October 7, 2019. At this time we weren't in relationship, but just still getting to know each other "dating". We decided to go to the Perry Fair. I had never been & I had been dropping hints for weeks.. I was an amazing first date.. We rode a lot of rides, ate great food, and I never had a mini heart attack.. Quick Story Time.. This is How I Knew I Loved Him If you "know" me, then you know I'm afraid of heights.. This man, wants to get on the Ferris Wheel and me being the strong woman I am I'm going.. We get on the Ferris Wheel and at first I'm fine, but as we make it to the top my heart starts to drop.. I start panicking. Chalker grabs my hands and tells me to look at him and at first I'm hesitate, but I eventually give in & look at him.. I look into his Blue Greenish eyes and my heart calms... I'm safe. No fear. I'm just filled with so much love. And that's how I knew. Okay end of Story Time.. After the Ferris Wheel, we walk pass a stand were artist are drawing pictures of people and I'm so excited. If you "know" Chalker he hates pictures, but he asks if I want a picture. Of course I did. So he tells me to go first and I'm like okay.. I sit down to be drawn and then it's Chalker's turn.. I'm not paying to much attention, because I want the finishing piece to be a SURPRISE. But I hear the artist say, "Would you like to add a heart for you and your girlfriend"? At this point my ears are as big as Dumbo, because I'm trying to hear Chalker's answer.. **Look in Photos for the final result**

I LOVE the holidays. The food. Family. Friends. Gifts. All of it. Christmas of 2020 was extremely special because Chalker and I were host Christmas Eve at our home. It was the first time that I've been able to host, so we were super excited. My sister, Porsha and Maya were coming with their families of course. My brother, Isiah and girlfriend, Maya were there, so we had a full house. I had cooked a huge Christmas dinner and I was just happy to spend it with my family.. It was time to pass out gifts and being the great host that I am, Chalker and I, went last. I was asked to sit down, eyes closed, and hands out. I'd be asking for Crocs, a TV, or a Circuit, so I was excited.. As I'm sitting there, my arms are getting tired, but hear people walking and bumping into things. It's a TV that's all I can think. My sister Porsha, tells me on the count of 3 to open my eyes. My entire family is counting down and when they say "3" I open my eyes to the name that I love on one knee, with a ring, and reaching for my hand... YES, he was proposing to me, in front of my family, my mom is on video call and so is my best friend Bryaunah..He involved everyone that he knew I would've wanted there. I just cried.. I was so out of it, I gave him my right hand to put the ring on... Let me tell you a SECRET: The ring did not fit. I forced it my fat ring finger. lol. Chalker told me to take it off so I would not have to get the ring nor my finger cut off. I was so sad.
