If you would like to stay very close to the venue, search for accommodations in Williamsburg or Greenpoint, Brooklyn NY. You’ll also find many hotel options in Downtown Brooklyn, which is fairly close to Taylor and Nick’s Fort Greene apartment. Keep in mind, however, that Brooklyn is a large area, and these hotels are not within walking distance of the venue. You'll also find it easy to get to the venue from these neighborhoods: the Lower East Side, East Village, near Union Sq or the lower west side (Tribeca, SoHo, Greenwich Village) in Manhattan, as well is Long Island City in Queens. If you would like to stay near Nick's parents, look for accommodations within, or close to the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Most short term Airbnb rentals in NYC are illegal unless the owner lives on the property. You may be able to find accommodations that get around this rule in certain cases, just make sure to research any listing thoroughly and exercise caution for scams.

Getting There On The Subway - L or G trains
If you are staying outside of Williamsburg or Greenpoint and want to get to Rule of Thirds via subway, you can take the L train to Bedford Ave (the first stop into Brooklyn) and walk 10 minutes north. You can also transfer at the L train Lorimer St stop (one stop after Bedford Ave) to the G train and get off at Nassau Ave, which is just a few blocks from Rule of Thirds.
