The spot of our engagement and the annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival (the BEST day of the year)! Bayshore Boulevard is great for a walk or run. It's the world’s longest continuous sidewalk, stretching 4.5 miles along Tampa’s waterfront with views of the bay, downtown skyline, and stately historic homes.
Stroll through one of our frequent date night areas, Hyde Park Village! It’s the perfect spot to browse local shops, grab brunch, or enjoy a coffee while people-watching under the oak trees. Special shoutout to Bouzy (site of our engagement photos), and some of our favorite restaurants, On Swann and Forbici.
The Lightning play a 1pm game at Benchmark International Arena on our wedding day (3/28). For those who haven't been, the environment at a Lightning game is absolutely electric. Be sure to check out nearby Sparkman Wharf beforehand for some pre-game bites and sips. Go Bolts!
This certainly is NOT one of Stephanie's favorite places. However, for those willing to test their luck, the Seminole Hard Rock Casino offers thousands of slot machines and table games. "Don't go to the video roulette, it's a scam." - A very bitter Dan
Smash some drives down the range at Top Golf, where you can golf poorly and still feel like a pro—FORE!
Downtown St. Pete is a great area to walk around (Central Ave, Beach Drive) and check out boutiques, breweries, and weekend farmers markets. Definitely be sure to explore The Pier and Vinoy Park - you might even see some dolphins swimming close by! If you're craving a cold one at a sports bar, Ferg's holds a special place in Dan's heart.
The Tampa Bay area is home to some of the best beach towns, each with its own personality. To name a few - Clearwater Beach has a lively, vacation-vibe with waterfront bars. Indian Rocks Beach offers a quiet, laid-back beach escape. Dunedin offers relaxed shops, cafes, and coastal trails. St. Pete Beach blends white sand with waterside restaurants. We recommend renting a car if you choose to explore beaches, as some towns are a 45-minute drive from Downtown Tampa.
Tommy will be at puppy school, taking a well-deserved vacation from his grueling day-to-day of napping and begging for snacks. He will be having way too much fun without us.
