There’s much debate as to when Chloe and Matt first met. Chloe insists it was in 2005 when they both started 6th Grade at Danville Middle School. However, Matt remembers meeting her back in 2002 at an elementary art camp...honestly, this may never get settled. Fast forward to 2010— Chloe and Matt are now juniors in high school and this is when their friendship really began. This friendship grew over the next few years, and by the time they were both at Bloomsburg University beginning their college careers they were inseparable. They spent most of every day together. They also spent a lot of their time trying to set each other up on dates, and convincing their friends, and total strangers, that they were “Just. Friends.” At the very end of their freshman year, they finally admitted to each other that maybe they were actually more than “just friends”. On May 27, 2013 they made it official. Over the next 5 years they took many trips and vacations, added their dog Frankie to their lives, graduated from college, got jobs, and built and moved into their first house. On April 22, 2018 Matt got down on one knee and proposed. This day has much significance, as 7 years prior Chloe’s grandfather, better known as her Pappy, passed away. Every year Chloe visits his grave on this day. While there, Matt stated that he knew how much Chloe’s Pappy had missed in the past 7 years and he didn’t want this moment to be another he wasn’t there for. Without question, Chloe said YES! They are very much enjoying being engaged, but are eager for June 22 to be here! Photo Credit: Alexis Brooke Photography
