All of our wedding events will take place at Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT. We encourage you to stay on-site for the full weekend experience! There are a ton of fun activities at the resort, including: Free live music Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights Boat tours and charters for tubing and water skiing on the lake Complimentary bikes, kayaks, & paddle boards Fishing 18-hole golf course And more!
Yes! We are planning a full weekend of fun events and we invite you to join us as early as Thursday for our unofficial kick-off, and stick around through our farewell brunch on Sunday. Please see the wedding schedule for more details.
Yes, we have a room block at Lake Morey Resort and we encourage our guests to stay on-site. Rooms start at $329. Please note that the block will be released to the public on June 10th; we urge you to make your reservations early so you don't miss out!
We encourage guests staying offsite to pre-arrange carpooling or professional taxi services, as we will not be able to offer a shuttle offsite. There is plenty of parking at the venue. Note that rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are not available in this part of Vermont. Please party responsibly!
On August 10, the temperature in the area typically ranges from 58°F to 76°F and is rarely below 49°F or above 84°F. That said, it can feel much hotter or cooler depending on sun and precipitation. We encourage guests in short sleeves to bring a shawl or light sweater in case it gets chilly after dark.
It means you are encouraged to break out your floral prints, patterns, and pastels! The whole event will take place outside in the gardens and we encourage you to dress the party! If you aren't into that sort of thing, no big deal, traditional formal attire is also totally fine. Dos: * Suits, both traditional as well as khaki and other lighter fabrics * Calf and ankle-length dresses, as well as elegant separates and jumpsuits * Floral patterns both in clothing and in accessories like ties and pocket squares * Light layers like a shawl if you aren't wearing a jacket - it can get chilly at night! Don'ts: * Full tuxedos or formal gala gowns - too fancy! Also, dress trains would be dragged through the grass. * Stiletto heals -- you'd sink into the grass * Polos, khakis, skirts above the knee -- too casual! Yes, children of all ages are welcome! Please let us know if we forgot to include your kids in the RSVP and we will correct it. We look forward to celebrating with your whole family.
Your invitation will specify the invited guests from your household. Please only bring the people on your invitation, as we are unable to accommodate unexpected guests. While we are not doing open plus-ones, we do wish to include your committed partners. Our heuristic is to invite partners with whom you were already in a serious relationship at the time of our engagement (June 2023) -- please reach out if we missed anyone. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!
The reception will be a plated banquet, and guests will have a choice of chicken, salmon, or portabello mushroom for entrees (you will select your entree when you RSVP). Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any allergies or other restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate you. The brunch will be a buffet with a variety of sweet and savory hot breakfast and lunch foods. We will serve light refreshments at the welcome party along with drinks -- please don't plan on this event for dinner as we will not be providing full meal service.
There will be an open bar at our reception. We will provide two drink tokens per guest for our bar at the welcome party. The Thursday night concert is a public event with a cash bar. Brunch will be dry. Please do not bring any outside beverages to wedding events. Vermont has very strict liquor laws and we don't want to spoil the fun with that sort of trouble.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home (please text us if you need the address!). A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Our ceremony will start promptly at 3, so please arrive at the ceremony site by 2:45. If you are coming from offsite, parking is available 2 minutes walk away.
The ceremony will start at 3 and our various events will runthrough 9:30. Please see our 'Events' page for more details on day-of timing!
We invite you to join us inside the resort following the reception at the Steamboat Bar for live music and a cash bar. The bar is typically open until 11. Please note, this is a public event.
We'll see ;)
We have an amazing professional photography team to capture our ceremony, and we ask that you put your phones away so that you can be fully present for this special event. You are welcome to take photos outside the ceremony, and we'd love to get a copy of your candid shots!
Generally yes, but please make sure you get permission from anyone in the photo (or their parents, if they are a young child).
