Our love started with late-night walks home after working the cocktail bar during the height of the pandemic. Chloee made the first move after months of walking, simply saying "I like you" to Eric's shock. The spark was welcomed later with the comment "isn't community farming sexy?" -- we then spent months simply courting. We cooked dinners, wandered in the desert and mountains, and talked for hours on road trips before spontaneously testing our early flame in a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. After falling in love, Chloee moved to Hawaii to farm and live with her cousin. This separation gave us the opportunity to support each other's individual dreams and reflect on our burgeoning connection. The words, in weekly handwritten letters, and pattern of acceptance built our shared values and intentions. Chloee discovered her call to herbalism while in Hawaii, envisioning a life gardening and working with healing herbs. Eric furthered his creative work, playing jazz, writing poetry and finishing a literature degree. Now we are tucked into the high desert beauty of Southern Utah with Patrick, deemed our "pocket pitty" by a dear friend, in a space outside of the pace of the city. We garden nearly every day, wander the desert often, and still have deep conversations and laughing fits in the middle of the night. We look forward to sharing, crafting, and living a radical love with all of you. We are sharing an intimate elopement with immediate family in Glacier National Park, Montana in a few weeks, and then taking long-sought pilgrimages this winter. We are visiting Chloee's soul-sister she met farming in India and fulfilling Eric's longtime dream to visit the Amazon in a honeymoon early next year to Ecuador and Colombia.
