We bumped into each other in a bar. The next day we had a coffee that both of us were convinced we wouldn't turn up for. Later that night, after my shift she bought me food. She told me I wouldn't visit her in the United States, I said I would. I did and I fell in love.

In June 2024 me and a couple friends made our way to England for our best friends wedding. After arriving, the first thing we needed to do was find food and drinks so we stumbled into a kebab shop with a bar right across the road. After eating we headed to the bar where we ran into a bouncer, who sarcastically let us in. We closed the bar down that night and during that time I snuck out many times to chat with the bouncer. After many attempts at getting his number, and quickly being rejected, I was finally gifted a name Z, Facebook, and a coffee date for 2pm that same day. After closing the bar down we both headed back to the Kebab shop and he continued to walk me home from there. Z and I talked about each other, our interests, and our lives until the sun came up and he had to get back to work. After a short nap I got up and met my friends for breakfast. We walked downtown and found an English breakfast around 1:45pm. Because I was confident that Z would not show up for our coffee date, I ordered myself a full breakfast and coffee as well. Not wanting to be the one who stood him up I walked to the coffee shop and as I arrived so did he. We walked in together and he ordered my coffee, just how I liked it. We sat and enjoyed coffee then walked around town, our first date lasted multiple hours ending with my friends calling to say I had to go as wedding festivities were beginning. Throughout the rest of my stay, we spent every moment together getting to know each other, from the end of his shifts until sunrise when I had to send him back to work. I left Torquay three days later, and from then on we texted every day, and that is how I met the love of my life.

Since we parted ways in June 2024 we have spent a lot of time traveling seeing each other and the world. Zoltan has since been to America twice where we visited Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. Chloe has made two trips back to England where we have visited Greece, Turkey, and Bulgaria as well as spent many days back where we met in Torquay enjoying our favorite coffee shop.
