Our very first vacation together was spent in a small cabin right outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We had been dating for a little under a year and had just spent our first Christmas together. Snuggled beside a fire and surrounded by Christmas lights, we spent many hours reflecting on our time together and what we envisioned for our future. We discussed the goals we wanted to achieve, the career paths we wanted to make, and the kind of life we wanted to build for ourselves and our future family. Through each pillar of life, we wanted to be by each other's side; through the good, the bad, and the wonderful. We vowed to one another that this was the first step of our forever. From that moment forward, we each became one half of our whole. 3 years later, we are engaged! After many discussions of how we wanted to celebrate and what our wedding would look like, one theme became the center of discussion: our family. We hold our family very dear and close to our hearts. Our family and friends mean the world to us. Each member holding valuable lessons, great memories, good laughs, and lots of love. To celebrate this step in our lives is to include those who we love and cherish the most. We wanted an intimate celebration with those that have inspired and supported us. What's a better way to celebrate than bringing our loved ones to the birth place of our vows? So, we ask our family and friends to join us in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for our wedding!
