We met freshman year of college at UW-Oshkosh (true love story-Wyatt knew the second he saw Chloe that he wanted to know more about her). Things didn't quite work out the first time for us, then Wyatt joined the Navy. We kept in touch while Wyatt was in bootcamp, and made plans to see each other when Wyatt was home that deer season (the date being of true Higley fashion, a deer stand and cards at the cabin). Things again didn't end up working out. March of 2020 during Covid, Chloe kept thinking about Wyatt and how much she enjoyed talking with him and so she made up an excuse to reach back out to Wyatt and we haven't stopped enjoying each other's company since! Wyatt was living in Nevada at the time and when he was home for Thanksgiving, we made it official, December 6th 2020. Wyatt continued his naval career, and Chloe finished her degree in nursing. We continued to love each other despite the distance and took any opportunity to travel and see each other. After graduation (and two and a half years of long distance) Chloe moved out to Hawaii with Wyatt. We enjoyed hanging out with friends, golfing year round, and then in 2024 we had our sweet girl Charlotte! On January 2nd of 2025, Wyatt FINALLY decided that he was going to put a ring on it!! We were on a sunrise hike and at the top of the mountain overlooking the ocean he proposed after asking someone to take our picture. Since then we have moved back to Wisconsin, bought our house and have been planning the most exciting day that we can't wait to celebrate with you all!
