Our story starts with Groomsman, Heston, asking me to take Wyatt to our high school’s Sadie Hawkins. At first, I said no a few times because I had a soccer tournament that weekend and wouldn’t be able to make it. However, for some unknown reason, my games were canceled, so I figured I could go with Wy after all, Heston practically begged me. Obviously, Wyatt said yes when I asked him, and we immediately hit it off, never having a dull moment. After that night, we decided that we really liked each other and wanted to keep talking. We had our first date on February 29, 2020, and then on March 3, 2020, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend with a bouquet of handmade paper flowers. Ever since then, we have been inseparable, and now I can say that I get to marry my best friend!!

The day I made the best decision of my life. It started with a snowy day in Sisters, OR. I was going to propose to my girlfriend but had to travel through 3 hours of snow to get to the perfect spot. There is a view point that Chloe's family always stops at on their way to Bend. It is a little spot with a rock right off the road looking out at the Three Sisters Mountains. I had everything planned out to the exact day of when I wanted to propose which was the 29th of February. This was the day 4 years after we had our first date. Here I was about to give her a rock. With the little light strands and the sun starting to go down, I too got down, on one knee. It was not until I physically had to put the ring on her finger until she truly believed I was not messing with her. And since then, it has been nothing but bliss and planning for this DAY!!!!
