This is the closest airport to the Island (unless you're fancy and fly into the Bar Harbor Airport). The drive to the Island is about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This is a TINY airport and flights in and out are on the pricer side. But definitely check it out if you're interested. This will get you to within 20 minutes of the island.
