ARE THE RECEPTION & CEREMONY IN THE SAME PLACE?

WHAT DAYS SHOULD I BOOK MY HOTEL/ AIRBNB FOR?

Answer

Our wedding is on Sunday, so if you are coming from out of town, we recommend booking for May 31st- June 2nd. (Saturday-Monday) so you can settle in, and enjoy your vacation.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4 PM. Plan on arriving 15-30 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and find your seat. Although, if you are running late and happen to arrive during the ceremony, we kindly ask you to watch from the back.

HOW DO WE GET TO THE RECEPTION?

Answer

*Reccomended to drive yourself up, or if you uber, we have people at the bottom of the hill to guide you up* It is up to you if you would like to drive yourself, or arrange transportation. We recommend if you are staying in a hotel, or airbnb local to the ceremony/ venue, to get an Uber or a Lyft to the rideshare spot, especially if you plan on drinking! It is a 10 minute ride from the ceremony to the Junipero Serra Park & Ride Spot (Where the shuttles will be) From the rideshare spot, a shuttle will then take you from there, to the reception venue up the hill. The shuttles will periodically be taking people up and down to and from the venue, to the rideshare spot. Keep in mind, the shuttle can only take up 26 people at a time, and it is a while to get up the hill, so if possible, carpool with someone and drive up. Driving yourself: Jewel of Ortega. IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Cocktail attire. For shoes, keep in mind our ceremony is on a grass hill.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Yes. Drinks are on us! We can't wait to celebrate with you.

IS THE CEREMONY/ RECEPTION OUTDOORS?

Answer

Yes. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the reception, as it may get cooler later at night.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS/VIDEOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We kindly ask to that our ceremony stays unplugged. We would like everyone to be present in the moment, and we will share all photos and videos from our amazing photographer/videographer.

WHAT TIME DO WE HAVE TO ARRIVE TO THE RECEPTION VENUE?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 PM, so arrive any time between 5:30 and 6:30 PM.

IF I DRIVE TO THE RECEPTION VENUE, CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT?

Answer

Yes. You will just need to get a ride to the top to get your car back.
