Chloe and Spencer met the way every Disney love story begins, through a dating app called Hinge. The first few weeks were an onslaught of questions and philosophical quandaries (thanks to Spencer...). Despite a desire to thrive in their independence, they felt compelled to meet. They first met for dinner at Cozy Taberna in Salem, Spencer was convinced that it was his princely duty to travel all 40 minutes to Chloe's neighborhood just in case the date was a wreck, he wouldn't have put her in too much misery. Thankfully, the chemistry they had built online translated perfectly in person. So much so that in the middle of one of Chloe's many sentences, Spencer interrupted her ask if he could kiss her. Following this fated event, they both knew they were in trouble! After their first date, Chloe and Spencer were committed to invest in their blossoming connection! They realized that they were finally with someone that they felt truly seen and heard by. Throughout the weeks, Chloe and Spencer spent time hanging out with friends, having late night deep conversations, and quiet nights in rewatching the best comedy tv ever produced. By week 6, Spencer was already shopping for engagement rings and Chloe was rolling out the approvals and boxes he would need to check in order to ask for her hand in marriage. They both knew exactly where it was headed but also were committed to taking time to enjoy the early formations of the road that they are on today. After many months, they realized that their first ideas of what love was like between them would remain unshaken. Turns out, when you know, you know. Finally on a beautifully hot afternoon in the Bahamas, Spencer, drenched in sweat, popped the question and asked Chloe to marry him. She said yes and that began the road that has led to 3/29/2025. They are so excited to take the next step with all of their friends and family present as witnesses to the beginning of a journey for a lifetime.
