As any classic Disney fairytale would begin, Shrek was a lonely ogre, looking for a noble steed. Wait a minute, Shrek isn’t Disney and this story isn’t about him. Let’s start over…. In late November of 2019, Sean’s aunt (Chloe’s boss at the time) decided she would play matchmaker and set the sad, lonely pair up. With some convincing from her friend Kacie, Chloe decided to give it a go. Sean soon texted Chloe with a request to meet up for the first time at a mutual favorite location, M&T Bank Stadium, for a Raven’s game. When they met, Chloe reluctantly had ketchup and mustard all over her sweatshirt (a story for another time) but the pair hit it off immediately. A few months into the relationship, COVID hit and the new couple quickly found out how much they enjoyed each other’s company. Fast forward through many at home date nights, deep conversations, and Disney Power Hours, they made it out of COVID stronger than ever. Many more firsts were to come, including their first trip to Walt Disney World together. The trip was magical no doubt, but Chloe (and friends…and family) couldn’t help but feel disappointed when a special ring was not brought back as a souvenir. A little over a year after the trip and about 3 years into their relationship, Sean decided the time was right. He planned the perfect proposal, in full Sean fashion, creating a PowerPoint presentation with pictures and accompanied by music. He then presented the PowerPoint to Chloe in front of immediate family, and, of course, Brody and Remi. Chloe said yes!
