FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We need final numbers before 7th July, if you haven't RSVP'd by then we will note you down as not available. Please note we have no leeway with our numbers so please try and let us know ASAP.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Formal/Black Tie. Ladies, think full length or tea length gowns and men think James Bond. Tuxedo or dark suit. Please see the 'dress code' tab for inspo, hopefully this will give an understanding of how we would like to bring our vision together! We understand this may not be comfortable for everyone so as long as you feel fabulous that is all that matters!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one then they will be on your invite when you RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

With respect, while we love your little ones and we would love to invite all of our friends children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We would love our wedding to be a chance for everyone to dress up, have a drink and dance the night away. We hope that you can understand this decision and that this advance notice means that you are still able to join us on our special day.

Question

Where can I park my car?

Answer

There is plenty of room in the venue's car park and we are certain you will not have a problem parking your car. There are spaces for electric cars should you need to use them.

Question

When is the best time to arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is due to commence at 2pm. We recommend you arrive at least half an hour prior to the ceremony starting. This will allow you enough time to grab a welcome drink and find your seat.

Question

What colour shall I avoid to not match the bridal party?

Answer

Our bridesmaids will be in various shades of green. Please do not feel under pressure to avoid this colour if it suits you best.

Question

Can I pay for drinks etc with cash?

Answer

De Vere Tortworth Court operates as a completely cashless hotel.
