It was love at first swipe 👉 We matched on Facebook dating, started talking, and met up one night. We’ve been inseparable ever since! It was just so easy to talk to each other and it felt like we had known one another all of our lives. He was working in Lubbock on a job and would go back home to Clovis on the weekends so we only saw each other in the evenings after he got off work. Once the job was finished in Lubbock and he went back to Clovis, he would come back and visit on the weekends and has been for four years!

It was his dad's birthday and we were celebrating in my shop since it was big enough to accomodate everyone comfortably, he knew I wanted the proposal to be in my shop, but it never crossed my mind that day. We were all hanging out and eating amazing food when everyone said his dad was going to get a photo with Rogelio and I before he opened our gift. Once I felt his heart racing as I put my arm around him I could tell something was off but still wasn't sure what it was. After I said happy birthday to his dad, he grabbed by hand and said he had a question for me, that was the moment I knew that was happening. He dropped to a knee and asked for my hand in marriage. I replied with an "Absolutely" and lotssss of ugly crying and sobbing throughout the rest of the day with how insanely happy I was and flooded with emotions. I couldn't have asked for a better man to have by my side for the rest of my life. <3
