We encourage guests who want to see the Taj Mahal to plan their arrival into Delhi no later than Monday, March 9th. However, the wedding events and ceremony will be taking place on Wednesday March 11th and Thursday March 12th. Those who want to join the post wedding getaway can expect to return to Delhi by Thursday, March 19th.

Haldi Ceremony

Haldi Ceremony: A Ritual of Blessings, Color & Joy Overview Join us for the Haldi ceremony — a meaningful pre-wedding ritual where turmeric paste and rose water are gently applied to the bride and groom. This ancient tradition symbolizes cleansing, protection, and good fortune as they step into married life. What to Expect The atmosphere will be warm, bright, and filled with love. Turmeric, known for its healing and purifying properties, is used to bless the couple and bring a natural glow before the big day. While Haldi is often playful and full of laughter, please note that the turmeric paste will only be applied to the bride and groom.

Mehndi Celebration (Henna)

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Suggested Attire: Festive! We invite you to wear colorful traditional clothing. Lehengas, kurta, saris and sherwanis are all welcome. Please avoid black or white. Bright colors encouraged!

Overview Please join us for a special evening as we celebrate the Mehndi ceremony — a joyful pre-wedding tradition where the bride’s hands and feet are adorned with henna. This ritual symbolizes love, luck, and new beginnings. What to Expect A relaxed and vibrant atmosphere with music, dancing, and traditional décor in bold shades of orange, pink, and gold. While Mehndi is often centered around women, everyone is welcome — including the groom, who may get a design or two himself.

Please join us for the Hindu wedding ceremony, where sacred rituals, mantras, and family blessings unite the couple in marriage. These tradition honors the joining of two souls and the coming together of families. What to Expect We’re so excited to share this celebration with you! The ceremony will take place under a mandap, surrounded by loved ones and guided by timeless customs. From the sacred fire (Agni) to the seven steps (Saptapadi), each moment is rich in symbolism and intention. A traditional Indian meal will follow. Ceremony & Traditions Expect vibrant, meaningful rituals that bring both families together. Many events are spiritual in nature, full of music, color, and joyful energy. No Alcohol In keeping with tradition, the events will be alcohol-free. But we promise it won't be missed with all the music, dancing, and celebration!

**Optional** Post Wedding 5-Day Getaway with Ravi and Chloe

After the wedding festivities, we are planning a 5-day getaway and invite our loved ones along for the journey. It will be a relaxed, optional trip for those who'd like to explore more of India together. This will be a casual, self-funded trip with plenty of time to connect and enjoy the beauty and history of India. Please see the FAQ page for more details. Group transportation will be organized from Delhi, leaving Saturday March 14th and returning by Thursday, March 19th in the evening. We aim to make it nice, safe and affordable for our guests. You’ll be responsible for covering your own accommodations, meals, entrance fees throughout the trip. The vibe will be fun, flexible, and community-oriented. We’re still planning the exact itinerary and locations, but we wanted to give you a heads-up now so you can consider it in your travel plans. Please RSVP Ravi or Chloe personally for this trip.
