Hotel
We have decided not to book a hotel block in order to allow more flexibility in your accommodations. While the Carelton is the most convenient given the event locations in Oak Park we want out-of-towners to be able to explore Chicago and stay in an air bnb, hotel, or elsewhere :)
Train
The Cheney Mansion is a short walk (10 mins) from the Oak Park Green Line "L" train. If you are looking for a train-accessible hotel or air bnb in the city, the Loop off Clark/Lake or State/Lake would be best. If you plan to Uber or drive, Logan Square (where we live!), Wicker Park, and West Loop are closest to Oak Park (about a 30 minute drive). There will be street parking at the venue.
