How do we get there ?

Answer

Road trip! Although there is an Amtrak train stop located in Plattsburgh, the drive is breathtaking! I would recommend driving during the day time to be able to see the views coming into the Adirondacks.

Answer

Yes! There is both Uber and Lyft, although, you may wait longer for your ride to arrive compared to Long Island. There are also local taxi options!

What is a Michigan?

Answer

Plattsburgh is home to the original “Michigan” and you can only find them in the area! A Michigan is an all beef hot dog with a meat sauce on top, with your choice of onions either on top of, or buried under the hot dog. This is a summertime staple in the area and a must have! My go to order is 2 michigans, buried, fries and a chocolate milk. Enjoy!
