Let's Celebrate!

WE ELOPED!! After a magical private ceremony in the mountains, we are so excited to bring our friends and family together in Spain to celebrate. Please j​oin us for a weekend of sunshine, good food, and fun in Jesús Pobre, Spain. Day 1: Kick Off Beach Party! - Sept 25 We’ll be hanging out at the Javea Arenal Beach for the afternoon. Swing by, say hello, grab a drink, play a round of beach volleyball and soak up that Mediterranean magic. What to bring: beach towel, swimsuits, sunscreen, hat & sunscreen. And maybe some beer or wine (we'll be providing some too!) Day 2: THE MAIN EVENT - Sept 26 Here it is - the moment we’ve been waiting for. Join us at Chloe's mums house - Casa Cabot - for cocktail hour, dinner, toasts, and dancing under the Spanish night sky as we celebrate our marriage. Day 3: The Recovery (Optional) - Sept 27 Market & Paella For those still around on Sunday afternoon, take a wander around the famous Mercat Del Riurau and then meet at a nearby restaurant in the village for paella!

Here’s a quick, practical overview to help you plan your trip. Jesús Pobre is a small, relaxed village on the Costa Blanca in Spain. It’s quiet, walkable, and easy - a couple of great restaurants & cafes, a bakery, and a weekly sunday market. It’s the kind of place where you slow down without even trying. Everything is super close, and it’s a really safe, friendly community. The village sits right by Montgó Mountain, so you’ll see lots of beautiful views. There are also some great towns nearby to explore: 1. Dénia (20 minute drive away) A bigger town with beaches, a great castle, tons of restaurants, and a nice marina. Great for beach time or wandering around. 2. Jávea (15 minute drive away) Super cute walkable old town with narrow streets, little Spanish restaurants with sunny patios. The beach area has a lovely promenade to walk and enjoy the beach bars. Weather in September September is warm, sunny, and usually pretty perfect. 20-28 C (68-82 F) Expect: Hot days Warm evenings Lots of beach/swim weather A light jacket for the occasional cooler night Pack summer clothes, but bring a layer for evenings.
