We have known each other since elementary school! He was a smarty, so we were never in the same classes, but that didn’t stop me from chasing him around on the playground (or so I thought). To this day, he insists I was actually chasing his friend…but we’ll agree to disagree!

Years later, while I was standing in line for yearbook photos, chatting with one of Noah's friends, he came over... The first thing that came out of my mouth was, "You've changed." In my defense, he had. He grew about five inches since the last time I saw him.

Noah hinted that we should go get ice cream, and I basically took that as an invitation!

Noah had just finished a baseball game when he got in the car and tossed me a baseball that said, "Will you be my girlfriend?" Of course I said yes....after holding the ball obliviously for several minutes.

This is a funny story! Noah decided to give me a note at school that basically said, “I love you” (which we hadn’t said to each other yet). Of course, I was very confused but had to go to class… Fast forward to that night, I went to his basketball game, which did not turn out well! Afterward, we got in his car, and I asked him about the note. He said, “Well, what did it say?” So I said, “I love you,” and then he said it back. We still debate to this day about who said it first.

Noah did such an amazing job! He proposed to me at a very special place. My grandparents farm! We pulled up, and I got out of the car to see a walkway lined with pictures of us, leading to the field where he got down on one knee. I was truly surprised, and it was beautiful!

From chasing each other (maybe) on the playground to reconnecting years later in line for yearbook photos, our story has been full of unexpected moments and sweet beginnings; like our first date over ice cream, nerves and all. Now, we're stepping into our next chapter hand in hand with love, laughter, and a shared history that has only made us stronger. We can’t wait for a lifetime of inside jokes, adventures big and small, and growing together in every season. Thank you for being part of this new beginning. We’re so excited to celebrate with you!
