“Do do” (if you know, you know), a church worship team, and two awkward nerds were all that it took for this epic love to blossom. After moving to Bowling Green in August of 2017 to attend college at Western Kentucky University, Chloe found EKK on the Hill Church where the two would meet. Never in a million years did she think a text to her mom about a hot guitarist on stage and an introduction to the church’s worship band after service would mean that she’d find her future husband. Michael also didn’t think the cute new girl with the curls he saw walk in the sanctuary that day would be his future wife. As you probably know, though, God works in really awesome ways. From that introduction at church, an immediate friendship would emerge between Chloe and Michael over a love of Jesus, music, coffee, Doctor Who, and Marvel. After three “not dates” which included one day of playing 20 Questions over GADS donuts after church followed by going to see Thor: Ragnarok after eating Shogun Bistro discount sushi for two days straight, the pair finally decided to call it what it was. November 8, 2017 is where it happened: the day they became mega best friends. Shortly after, they both realized that probably meant they were a couple. Flash forward to April 13, 2019, where after a year and half of dating they would confirm what they had know from a month into the relationship. At approximately 2 A.M. in his living room, Michael asked Chloe to say “I Do-Do” and marry him. After only a year and a half together, they were truly inseparable and neither could imagine doing life without the other by their side. While the engagement has been a long and difficult road, it has also been a huge growth period for the couple as a unit and as individuals. They are extremely grateful for this time and are excited to finally announce their wedding to their family and close friends. Please join them on May 29, 2021 to celebrate an amazing journey to come and a life full of love.
