If you ask Martin he will tell you that proposing to me was quite stressful, he tried several times and it never worked out! Typical! .. However, I'll tell you about the actual night he did pop the question! We were on the Emerald Princess and both of our families were visiting and cruising with us. It was also Martins Birthday! So our families and our best friends Taylor and Daniel all went for a meal at our favourite restaurant on board, Share! Martin was actually acting strange all meal, he wasn't eating anything, which is so unlike him! But I didn't think too much of it. Then after dessert he started to do a speech about having a gift for someone but said they weren't expecting it. I was getting very confused at this point and actually thought he had brought a gift for one of his family members! The next thing I know Martin is pulling a box out and on one knee besides me! SUCH. A. SHOCK! ... I couldn't believe what was happening and all I can remember is hearing my Mum scream!!! :D Then in true Martin Kay style he said 'HA, jokes on you! Will you marry me!' ... and I will never let him live that sentence down ever again! It really was special to be able to share the moment with our family and friends and the celebrations continues throughout the rest of the cruise!

Me and Martin met on our first day of rehearsals for the Ruby Princess in LA. Martin says his first memory of me is me bounding into the studio on the first morning, jumping on him, giving him a hug and introducing myself... apparently I was very energetic and eager, ha! I was excited to be back at work, what can I say!!! We hit it off straight away and shared so many common interests. I secretly knew I liked Martin from the get go but was so scared of getting involved romantically with another cast member. According to all our other cast mates, it was very obvious Martin was into me from day 1... apparently it was just me that was oblivious!! From there we become the best of friends and Martin planned a whole weekend in Las Vegas for my Birthday! That was where Martin asked me to be his girlfriend.... to which I hesitated ... and told him a whole 24 Hours later that the answer was yes! I had to keep him on his toes from the very beginning!!! That was the best decision I ever made and we have not looked back since!
