FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answer

If you have other questions not listed here please feel free to reach out!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is March 22nd (at midnight so technically March 23rd if you think about it hard enough). If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP accordingly, if you miss the deadline we will unfortunately have to assume you will not be in attendance. We must provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. If you’ve RSVP’d as attending but find you will not make it please notify the bride or groom as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one/children?

Answer

Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest/Partner’s Name” “The (Name) family” or “The (Name)s” and your RSVP will outline all those who are included with you. If you have any further questions about who you can bring with you please contact the bride or groom.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony official start time is 10am. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before to have time to park, find a seat, and maybe catch up with some old friends.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, the ceremony and social hour will take place at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church and the reception will be held at the Perry Events Center. Our venues are around 25 minutes apart from each other.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

YES! (Just not during the ceremony) During the ceremony we ask that all devices be put away so you all can be present with us in the moment. However, the rest of the wedding day there will be many opportunities to take pictures, I hear there may even be a photo scavenger hunt for guests ;).

Question

Can I post to social media?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding hashtag is #heartsforthehardens However we request that larger posts to instagram or facebook be posted a week after the wedding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We would to love to see you all dressed up! We request that all guests dress to a cocktail to semiformal occasion attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi-length formal/semiformal dresses or jumpsuits. Gentlemen can wear suit & tie, or slacks & button down. We recommend that guests wear shades of blue! Don’t have anything blue to wear? Don’t fret, wear whatever color makes you feel your best, but we request that guests avoid wearing white/ivory/cream, green, and purple. Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

PLEASE DO! The bride and groom both have food allergies themselves and would love to make sure you’re accommodated with food options. There will be a section to note food allergies on your RSVP.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have so many hotel recommendations, please see the travel tab for all our suggestions. If you need any help with travel accommodations please contact the bride or groom!

Question

Is there alcohol allowed?

Answer

Due to venue restrictions we ask that no alcohol is consumed at either of our wedding day locations. However, in lieu of traditional drinks during social hour we will be sponsoring a visit from Kona Ice!
