Question

How Long Do I Have To RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later July 16th, 2025. We need plenty of time to arrange hotel blocks and make other arrangements.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Think nice dresses or jumpsuits mid-length to floor length. Suits or slacks with a nice dress shirt. We'll be on the beach in Mexico! We highly encourage you to wear something colorful. The ceremony will be held on the sand, so wear heels at your own risk. Please also note that both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We are expecting good weather (great, actually!!) ; however, you may want to bring a light jacket for the evening.

Question

Do I Need a Passport?

Answer

Yes! Please ensure you have a valid passport that does not expire before September, 2026. You will need a passport book in order to fly, Passport cards do not suffice. If you are getting a new passport or renewing, please allot at least 3 months for this process. Passport applications are available online or at your local Post Office, and photos are attainable at most drug stores, AAA, or can be taken at home with good lighting.

Question

Where Will the Ceremony and Reception be Held?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the beach at the resort, so we recommend avoiding stilettos. The reception will take place on a beautiful outdoor patio. While we’re expecting lovely weather, we suggest bringing a light jacket just in case if you get chilly easily!

Question

How Much Does a Night at the Resort Cost?

Answer

It ranges, but it is around $300-400 per person per night with a 3 night minimum. This includes all food, drink and activities at the resort including 24 hour room service. ** We are working with a travel agent to get better rates than what you see online. Once your RSVP is confirmed, we will have a page here specifically focused on booking your travel.

Question

Do I have to stay at the resort?

Answer

We understand the resort can feel a bit expensive or may not be your preferred lodging. You are not required to stay at the resort, however, we need your opt-out ASAP so we may release your room from our block. Please also be advised that Hotel Ziva requires a $110 day pass per person for visitors to the resort, which will be required to attend the wedding if you are not staying at the resort. Keith thinks this is stupid but it's not our rules, so don't shoot the messengers! Zona Romantica is a wonderful place to stay where you can find AirBnBs that might be a bit more affordable than the resort. You are also welcome to stay at other hotels in the area, though there is no guarantee they are any more affordable than our chosen resort.
