We're getting married!

We met at a bar in Pleasanton. Katie saw Chloe walk in and decided right then she was going to talk to her. Katie's interest in Chloe went right over her head. Katie would like to add that this is no reflection on her smooth communication skills. Drinks, dancing and great conversation lasted all night.

The proposal happened in our backyard on New Years Eve. Chloe didn't know what was scarier- asking Katie's father for her hand or the proposal itself! Chloe strung lights all over the yard and had our favorite songs playing in the background. Photos of our journey together over the years were strung next to the lights and guided a pathway to the fire pit. Chloe popped the question there. Once Katie said yes, she quickly left the yard, leaving Chloe to sweat it out and worry. Katie returned with an engagement ring she had purchased several months prior. It was meant to be.
